2020 may have been shit, but the fashion trends that came out of last year were phenomenal! There were so many looks and styles that I was obsessed with that I'm just not ready to leave in the past. Today I'm letting you in on the clothing items and looks that I'll still be incorporating into my wardrobe throughout the beginning of 2021.
Browns + Neutrals
It is the world's greatest lie that black and brown don't go together, and I will never fall for it again! Brown has been the color of 2020 and I don't see it leaving any time soon. With so many different shades and tones of brown, there's no way you can't find the perfect brown piece to add a cool girl look to your closet.
Shackets
I think shackets are one of those super trendy pieces that are going to become a staple in wardrobes for years. They're so easy to throw on as a layering piece to any outfit, they come in a variety of textures, patterns, and colors, and they can elevate a look or make it more casual! The shacket is a super versatile piece that's going to be perfect almost all year long.
Sets
Sets became a staple in most people's closets over the last year. Not only are they comfortable and easy to style, but most can take you from bingeing Netflix in bed to grabbing dinner with friends. Even better, you're not limited to wearing the matching pieces together!
Zebra Print
I'm personally in love with zebra print, and I can't see myself ending that love affair anytime soon. It's such an interesting pattern that adds such a pop to any outfit, or give a look more texture.
Chunky Boots
Chunky boots will be around for awhile, I'm sure of it! They give an outfit more edge, can give you more height to elevate your look, and add a textural element to an outfit that can completely change its style. One of my favorite parts of this trend is that you can get shoes like this at a huge range of different price points!
